“Seven stars,” Trip said firmly. “Maybe seven and a half; I don’t think Zagat’s been here for a while. Or whoever the guys are that do the rating things.” He held the door open for Skye, motioning for her to walk through. “If anyone tackles you, they will have hell to pay, trust me. I’ve already threatened several kids with detention so far, even though the academy doesn’t give out detentions.”
“That’s just excessive. What’re you overcompensating for, huh? The fact you’ll get your asses handed to you by comms?” she teased. Trip’s gesture was greeted with a curtsy, and only then did Skye allow herself to step through the door. “I feel safer already. And does the lack of discipline stop you, agent Triplett? Make your own detention. Let them watch curling.”
