“Yeah. An electric type.” Lincoln echoed. You have no idea. “Um. I’m from Ohio.” He hesitated, not really sure what was interesting about him that he could actually share. “I watched Game of Thrones once but I didn’t really like it, which apparently makes me weird. More of a dog person than a cat person, I guess. Played soccer when I was little, but most kids did. I went to Taco Bell on the way here and my stomach still hasn’t forgiven me.” He shrugged, gratefully accepting the water when the bartender brought it over. “I’m not that interesting, truthfully.”
“I’m from - I don’t know. China?” Skye mused, brows furrowed in concentration. He was letting himself be vulnerable with her, so it was only fair she’d share, too. “Game of Thrones is terrible and I’m convinced people liking it is just a conspiracy, my legal name is Mary Sue Poots, which you absolutely cannot mention to anyone unless you want me to stuff you into a Pokeball, I don’t know when my birthday is, so I don’t celebrate it, and I cosplayed outside of Stark Tower once. The pictures are gone, don’t bother looking.” Skye extended her hand to momentarily rest it on his, at which point she could’ve sworn being sober wasn’t healthy for her because god damn, there was static electricity, then retracting to accept the water from the bartender. “What I’m trying to say is, you’re fine. Being interesting isn’t the most important thing going on for people, at least that’s not how I see it. You’re not boring, either.” She smiled before adding a final quip, “… Pikachu.”
