Fitz was finding it hard to sleep, for whatever reason. Considering all that had happened lately, with Jonathan and with Simmons coming back and all that, he had a lot more to think about than dream about. He sat up in his bed and chewed his lip, trying to decide what to do; he was too awake to do nothing. He could go to the lab and tinker around with making those stupid toys Ward got him into the promise explosives, or talk to Simmons–nah, it was too late and if he tried to talk to Simmons at this time she’d probably just be groggy and fussing over his sleep and health or whatever. He chose instead to visit Skye, she was always fun to talk with. He walked all the way from the Scitech dorms to the Comms’s, heading hesitantly inside before knocking on the door outside of Skye’s room. Hearing her response, he gave a small smile, and greeted her when she opened the door. “Hey, Skye, hope I didn’t wake you up–I can’t sleep and I needed to do something so I thought maybe I could sit in your dorm or talk or ‘Hulu and chill,’ although I never really understood if the ‘chill’ part was supposed to mean something else or not.”

“Yeah, it is. It literally means being below core temperature and Cap’s got the whole thing on lock. Don’t tell Coulson I said that, by the way.” She opened the door wider, motioning to the room with an outstretched arm as to present it to him once he’d entered. “Welcome to my humble abode. Sorry about the mess, I’m still in-between places. Wife left with the kids, so I had to find a place real quick.” She closed the door behind her and, with a quick few leaps, was on her bed again, cross-legged and ever so awake. She pulled a blanket over her legs then, tilting her head in anticipation of him to talk.
