Ben was suspicious about the invitation, as the comms were notorious for their pranks. Yet, it was a teacher, who was inviting him, so he thought he had no other choice but to go. “Are you sure they won’t?” he asked trying to cheer up the bored looking girl, “I’ve heard a lot of weird stuff about you, comms-types.”
Already halfway out of the door, Skye waited on Ben to make his way out. “If necessary, I’ll shield you with my body,” she assured, breaking into a smile. “Get it? S.H.I.E.L.D? Right. l bet most of the stories you’ve heard were about me, the person who pretended to be a homesick German man on the NSA twitter account out of boredom, but we’re not that bad. I’m Skye, by the way.”
Ben was just enjoying an afternoon nap after having an all-nighter when he woke to the sound of the door of his room opening.
“Hey, who’s there,” he asked still a bit groggy from his sleep.
“Sorry for interrupting your healthy lifestyle choices, but communications needs to borrow a scitech student for -” she hesitated, trying to remember what the reason was, but came short. “Something, and I was sent up to this dorm to escort you, because it’s not as if I have other things to do. They probably won’t hurt you.”
